About · since 2019
Built around one bright room.

Light first
A 42-metre glass dome, so the atrium runs on daylight until 4 pm.
Room to pause
Over 300 seats in common areas, shaded and free to use, with no purchase needed.
Local makers
One in four stores is an Indian or Pune-born brand. The bazaar is curated, not rented.
Lighter footprint
Rooftop solar, zero single-use plastic in the food court, and a waste-to-compost plant.
Timeline
Ten years, one atrium.
2016
Land acquired on Balewadi High Street; the architects sketch a mall built around one round, sunlit atrium.

ZENARA opens with 120 stores, the dome, and a fountain that the whole city photographs.
2021
Level 2 rebuilt as a food-and-fun floor: The Long Table, nine screens and Strike Zone.
2023
Rooftop solar now covers 40% of power; rainwater harvesting feeds the fountain and gardens.
2026
180+ stores, 14 million visits a year, and the Festive Bazaar becomes Pune's biggest makers' market.

“Come for one thing. Stay for the day.” It's still the brief for everything we build.
